It takes time to change your mindset. If you have a long habit of cultivating negative thoughts or seeing what you can complain about, it’s not like flipping a switch. There are numerous opportunities to practice cultivating a healthy mindset. It really comes down to the everyday things. It takes a lot of work and dedication in the beginning. The more you practice, the more naturally it will come. You have to remember that you’re reversing the process. So if you’ve thought a certain way or looked at things from a particular perspective for years, you have to remind yourself every day of the new mindset you’re cultivating.
